Prova På - A Resounding Success

The cricket try-out sessions, part of the holiday activities for youth organised by Västerås Stad, have been one of the most successful events VCC has hosted in recent years. The wide variety of participants and the number of registrations clearly show this success. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to bring in new talent, grow our active training members, and give more people a chance to enjoy cricket. Several new members eagerly tried their hand at playing with the hard ball, faced the bowling machine, and caught catches with the hard ball. The excitement was truly contagious, and it was wonderful to see so much talent shining through among our participants. The initiative was spearheaded by Ganesh and supported by several members.

To make this even more attractive, VCC management is offering a special 50% discount on the training fee for new members, tailored to their section and age group. This can be availed by new members

who have registered for the try-out sessions or
would like to join VCC on or before the 30th of June 2026.

The Västerås CC management sincerely thanks Västerås Stad for the wonderful opportunity to be part of the 'lovaktiviteter,' and we deeply appreciate our enthusiastic and supportive members who helped us plan and run these sessions.

The initiative and content were thoughtfully organised and led by Ganesh, Sathya, Mohan, and Adarsh. We had a great turnout of youth from the regular U15/U19 squad and our dedicated senior members—Ganesh, Adarsh, Anukool, Bharani, Emran, Nirav, Pavitra, Sathya, Tasal, Mohan, and Lakshmi—who joined us on the three occasions to assist with the sessions and introduce our club to new participants.

It was a lively and busy week with the end of academic sessions and festive celebrations, but thanks to our wonderful members, we were able to make these sessions happen and create meaningful experiences.
